Website analytics

When PostHog is configured, this site records page views and page leaves so we can understand which pages are useful. Those events can include the page address, referring page, browser or device details, and an analytics identifier. If PostHog is not configured, that analytics collection does not run.

Automatic click capture, session recording, surveys, heatmaps, exception capture, experiments, feature flags, and person profiles are disabled. Analytics identifiers are not persisted by the main site. Server-side Letter and Tuckaway signup events use fixed aggregate identifiers, not identifiers made from an email address, IP address, token, or subscriber record.

On the Tuckaway website, the explicitly recorded interaction events are a page view, the first use of the calm-canvas demo, and in-page navigation selections. The event properties do not include touch coordinates, text entered into a form, or child data.

The Letter

If you subscribe to The Letter, we store your email address, subscription status, confirmation and unsubscribe tokens, signup source, the IP address used for rate limiting, and the timestamps needed to record signup, confirmation, and unsubscribe activity.

The Letter uses double opt-in. A subscription remains pending until its confirmation link is used. Every delivered letter includes an unsubscribe link.

Tuckaway waitlist

If you joined the Tuckaway launch waitlist, we store the email address you provided, the signup source, the IP address used for rate limiting, and the time the record was created. The waitlist was for a one-time launch notification, not a recurring newsletter.

Tuckaway's iPhone app remains separate from the website. The app does not create an account, run analytics, or send child or usage data to True Line Collective.

Service providers

This site is hosted by Vercel. Supabase stores The Letter subscription and Tuckaway waitlist records. Resend accepts confirmation and Letter emails for delivery. PostHog provides the limited analytics described above, and Sentry receives error and performance information, when those services are configured. These providers process information on our behalf to operate and understand the site.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from The Letter with the link in any Letter email. You can also ask what subscription information we have, request a correction, or ask us to delete Letter or Tuckaway waitlist information by writing to find@yourtrueline.com. We may need enough information to identify the relevant record before completing a request.

Changes

If the site's practices change, this page will be updated to describe the current setup. We do not state a fixed retention period here because the site does not currently enforce one consistently across every provider and record type.
