Tuckaway is built so there is nothing to worry about.
Tuckaway does not collect, store, transmit, or share any data. At all. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. The app makes no network connections. Everything happens on your device and stays there.
Nothing. We do not collect personal information, usage or analytics data, or any data about your child. We use no cookies, identifiers, or tracking of any kind. Nothing is sent off your device, because the app never connects to the internet.
A few preferences (your chosen theme, whether soft sound or haptics are on, and the date you first installed the app, used only to manage the free trial) are stored locally on your device using Apple’s standard on-device storage. This never leaves your phone and is removed if you delete the app.
The one-time unlock is handled entirely by Apple’s App Store and StoreKit. Tuckaway never sees your payment information.
Tuckaway is operated by a parent or caregiver; the child only ever sees a calm, non-interactive screen. Because the app collects no data whatsoever, it is compliant with COPPA, GDPR-K, and similar children’s privacy laws by design.
